Eh.... if you hunt for it (and get lucky), yes...

But, honestly, weapons become so outleveled quickly that it's not worth farming for most equipments until the endgame.

ah i see, so pretty much get cap level then farm?

More or less.

There are some items that's worth getting simply because it's effects are useful even if damage output isn't. And, there are items whose effects don't change all that much between levels (such as certain class mods).

However, those are very few, and... for most practical purpose.... yeah, just get the the level cap before seriously farming.

Or, if you feel obligated to farm for a particular item, just keep in mind that most are going to become obsolete very quickly.

No, You can farm at whatever level you want. At higher levels, you can re-farm every, say, 5-10 levels. At OP levels you might want to refarm every 3-4

First off, you don't need a Double Harold. Any one will do. I wouldn't bother farming it in Normal or True mode, but it can be a good idea to keep one on hand through UVHM for FFYL. And the Harold is one of those weapons that will last you longer than 2-3 levels. It can be stretched pretty far because it is so overpowered.
Slyk Apr 17, 2017 @ 2:13pm
whats FFYL?
WickedRequiem Apr 17, 2017 @ 2:26pm
"fight for your life".

A UVHM harold will last you for 10 levels, if you're a somewhat decent player. Well, let's say 8 levels, to be on the safe side.
As player 'decentness' decreases, so will the lifespan of the harold, naturally.

Like dontu said, don't bother farming in normal or true vault hunter mode.
Just loot the battlefields and chests, use what you find.
Try something new every once in a while.
All guns have their up- and downsides. The more of these you know, the better.

When you're ready to take the training wheels off and play a real character try....well... anyone else.

It's a good pistol for the NVHM levels but I think overhyped for the UVHM levels where explosive won't get you so far. The double penetrating unkempt harold (DPUH) starts availability at level 7+ and can be easily farmed from Savage Lee @ the Marrowfield on the east side of Three Horns Divide (or he's occasionally among bullymongs near THD fast travel station). For most players it's among BL2's first few legendary arms along with the Hornet pistol etc. Have fun!

If you gib a DPUH its easy just like that.
Demo Dan Apr 29, 2017 @ 3:06am
you can get it if you complete the mission road to sanctuary,
Some bandit called savage lee drops it in the marrowfields.
DPUH basicly means double penatrating unkempt harold
