does gun scope matter?

so i got some guns like the "double penetrating unkempt herold" but mine doesn't have the jakobs scope.

everytime i watch a youtuber using a unkempt herold they always got the ones with jakobs scope.

does Gun Scope matter?

Scopes only affect the zoom level and are down to personal preference.
The only exceptions are rocket launchers, where scopes also affect stats.

In my opinion i think that hyperion scope is best for the DPUH because when you're not using it you can see more. Just a personal preference

Enh... some people like certain parts.

Yes, different parts do impact the way the weapon performs.

However, scopes tend to have the least impact, and are mostly an aesthetic choice.

As long as its not a toaster or micro-wave sitting on the top, as they tend to block your view, not really. Just my personal pet hate with scopes.

on snipers i stay away from hyperion scopes cz they zoom to much... and makeing wepon much harder to use....

they make small min/max differences (see link above) but a DP unkempt is a solid item anyway and the extra differences wont make or break the situation. if its an op8, is there any chance of duping that gun for me? spent 3 hours farming today and all out of patience :( thank you

i dont think you can get DP unkempt harold by farming, you gotta get it from Torgue vending machine. (and i'm sry i dont have OP8, i'm lv 61)

as for gun scopes, I like to have mine (particularly on sniper rifles) with the Hyperion sights for the highest zoom possible

Getting one from a vending machine is easier, but yes, he has an increased chance of dropping one. As with all bosses and badasses, it may take a while to get one, though, let alone the version you would like best.
