Just search up "Borderlands 2 shift codes" in google and you should find them all.

Short answer: Anything that works for you.
It's not until the second playthrough that you REALLY feel the need fot special gear.
(Possibly not until 3rd, even)
Granted, it can get a bit hard if you're new, even on 1st playtrough, but just look around.
If you feel the need for "Best Weapons" this early, chances are you're doing it wrong. (No snark here, just an honest opinion)
Normal mode is where you check out guns and play around. After that, your question starts to make sense.
Don't focus on "best" just pick up and use anything that you find, try it out, experiment, see what works for you. The game works just fine and is perfectly playable even with "inferior" weapons, pretty much all the way through TVHM.
Barring Legendaries, non-Bandit SMGs (including E-Techs), Sniper Rifles with a Vladof Barrel (Dahl "Scout", Vladof "Droog", Hyperion "Competition", Maliwan "Rakehell", and Jakobs "Diaub"), Hyperion "Thinking" Shotguns and "Vision" Pistols, and most Maliwan and Dahl guns are great choices for Maya. Jakobs "Gatling Gun" ARs are also solid for damage.
