Killing bosses over and over again, quick method
I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows this method but I'm gonna say it anyways since I recently discovered it by accident. As far as I know it works for DLC bosses like hyperius, master gee, pyro the pete.

After killing the bosses you would usually have to save and quit and do the run again just to get the boss room. What I found was that if you killed yourself with an explosive weapon and respawn then the boss will be available again and you can simply just walk in there and fight him again without going through the hassle of save and quit or going through half the map just to get there.

;tldr just kill yourself with an explosive weapon, do your run again.

Or you could just walk out of Hyperius' gate and then he respawns....Same with Vorac. Your post is not news, or correct.

Ah I see, didnt know about the walking out part since I always assume he would just stay dead there.

With Hyperius, an additional benefit of walking past his gate again is that any minions that remain will disappear. This allows you to reenter the arena and take your time looking at the loot that was dropped.

Just ignore the now-respawned Hyperius when you do so.

Careful though; if you beat Hyperius once and subsequently die while fighting him again, the gate will lock.

The art of rocket jumping does however allow you to get back in.
Granted, it takes practice & its not a fast method. Unless you forgot to grab some loot, its easier to just restart the map.

Interesting! Thank you SunDrippedDevil, I did not know that!

No need to restart the map if Hyperius kills you and you find yourself locked out, and there is loot inside the arena. Go back the way you came, kill any loaders that might have respawned, leave to Wurmwater and just re-enter the refinery. This resets Hyperius, and although you will have to pay 8 eridium to open the gate again, all the loot will still be there.

if thats the case instead of running pass the enemies (except for that one section where your forced to fight to get the badass loader to open the gate) and going through the map again then is it not better to just kill yourself? You spawn literally in front of the boss arena with the boss respawned. I mean you're just losing a bit of cash and if you run out you can simply just sell the unwanted loot.

And doing this method you dont have to pay 8 eridium afaik

Well, when Hyperius kills you, you respawn outside his arena, with the gate now locked, and him waiting inside. I really don't think that killing yourself is going to open the gate again somehow.

thats odd the gate is usually stayed open for me.

EDIT: I think there's a misunderstanding here.

After you kill hyperius, you get the loot you want or leave it alone, then you throw a grenade at your feet (could be two or three grenades to kill you or more) you hold e to give up. You respawn with the gate still open and the boss respawn with the loot still there you left alone.

It only remains shut if you have defeated him at least once.

That may work when you are doing the actual mission. Don't know, never tried it.
For farming Hyperius after you have handed the mission in it is just a case of killing him, stepping outside the arena, and he will resapwn immediately. Ammo up, kill him again, step outside.... rinse, repeat.
If he kills you when you are farming, the gate will remain closed after you respawn, and you will have to leave the map and re-enter in order to carry on farming.
