Tannis knows so much about the vaults, and the Eridians. She, imo, lacks even more empathy than Jack. She actually gave the vault key to Jack, and was supposedly tortured, but Jack let her live ??? When does Jack let anyone against him EVER live ??? And not killing Tannis would be a dumb move, because she knows so much! He even poisoned Wilhelm, so he doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about killing, whatsoever. And, an Easter Egg discovered in Battleborn states:- ''Tannis is not what she seems. Do not open the vaults.''

She's been playing us since the first game, guys...

Yes, with the Calypso twins and visiting more planets besides Pandora, I don't see Tannis as being a big player anymore. She didn't even make the trailer, neither did other characters I was hoping to see (Gaige and/or Kreig specifically, even if demoted to NPC status.) Maya however was there, and Handsome Jack's statement about there only being 6 sirens, while considered a wall-breaking Easter egg, is now canonized.

I swear i saw tannis for half a second in one of the trailers. But where does it canonize the 6 siren statement?

well this was unexpected, I would say you could easily be correct, the only issue that I have is that I have is that she worked for dahl and you saw what jack did to those scientists on suspicion and that was before jack went insane

How is his comment about 6 sirens a wall breaker? It would make sense that a man who's daughter is a Siren, and apparently who's wife was killed by said daughter by accident, would have spent a lot of time researching them in order to see how they work. Hence how he was able to contain Lilith.

I'm pretty sure the thing about 6 Sirens was mentioned in Borderlands 1 as well, but I could be mistaken. I could have sworn I heard something about that prior to BL2.

Yes, this explains why it's a 4th-wall joke. In one BL3 Trailer, Lilith states:
"There can only be 6 sirens in the galaxy, and I used to be one of them."

So this definitely makes the statement canon. Now I'm curious how can Lilith state that she "Used to be," a siren?

While it's entirely possible that the new playable siren has something to do with it, but with Angel dead Lilith also not counting toward the 6, it's Maya, the 4 co-op players with the new Siren, and ______ whom?
