Best boss to farm relics for?

I'm searching through bosses finding one that drops the most relics on average. If you have suggestions, that'd be great.


They can be from the following DLCs:
Raid on Digistruct Peak
Big Game Hunt
Tiny Tinas Assault on DK
Torgue

Legendary loot midgets drop Relics of Ancients very commonly. Otherwise, relics are world drops.

Your best bet would be Pyro Pete as he seems to have the largest loot pool. The Dragons drop a lot of items per kill, and lead to an insane amount of chests. Probably another good farming choice for relics.

As far as bosses go, The Warrior is your best bet in my opinion given the ease with which you can farm him and his huge loot pool.

It depends on what relics you are after. The assorted Ancient relics only drop from loot midgets, while bosses often drop the others.
Digistruct chests do have them occasionally, but a limited number of chests, and somewhat of a pain to get to them all.
Vorac does drop relics. Why anyone would want to farm the annoying <bleep> for them though...
Tiny Tina's has loot everywhere. The Dragons drop relics. The mimics also drop them. Unfortunately the 56 dice chests in the Winged Storm do not feature relics.
Pyro Pete is an easy farm, and also drops seraph crystals. There are also 2 red chests to check.

King Mong can drop relics, and, and, and, basically lots of places to find them. If there is any other boss specific loot you are after, it might br an idea to farm that boss and see what else drops. Want a Norfleet or two? Farm Hyperius. There will be relics a-plenty while you are waiting for the elusive Norfleet.

From the DLC bosses you already own, I've gotten good relics from OMGWTH and the Saturns at OP6+, and from Pete, the Warrior and the Dragons anywhere in UVHM. If you buy them, the Scarlett and the Mercenary Day DLCs also have a few top places to farm relics.

Definitely legendary loot midgets during the Doctor's Order. After you get that mission from Tannis, go to the wildlife preservation and only pick the first echo. In the room of the second echo, you can see four cartons, open them from right to left one by one (order does matter in my case), happy farming! Oh, during your first run you can see a place named Natural Selection Annex, just get in and out, that will save your time for next runs.

Note: DON'T pick any other echos. And never long press e in that midgets room. If you picked the second echo by accident, please press alt+f4.

I found that farming Old Slappy for a Striker shotty on my legendary run, he droped a blue/purple relic every three kills on average. Pretty easy kill, and really fast if you come from "Extraction Point" fast travel point into the Outwash.
If you're looking for Bones, yea, Loot Midgets as earlier stated by others.
