I used it for a bit because novelty, I quickly swapped it for another launcher as it wasn't that helpful in ffly.
Hmm, FFYL is an interesting case. On one hand you can easily get a second wind with the Tunguska given its immense damage and blast radius without harming yourself (since you're already crippled), but on the other hand you'll most likely go into FFYL right after getting the second wind if you're unlucky. Well that's my theory anyway.
As for the distance, yeah you gotta be very careful. Especially due to the parabolic trajectory. I'm not sure if Zer0 and Maya can make better use of it through Vel9city and accelerate, but I don't see how the other characters would manage to accommodate the unconventional buffer zone into their playstyle, especially during intense fights.
I find it a real shame that characters who make good use of explosive guns are the ones most vulnerable to the huge damage radius.
However, I have to say one thing... this is one weapon that actually befits its ultra-rare "pearlescent" status, as in it's miles ahead of any legendary. Just that there aren't a lot of opportunities to use it once you manage to get your hands on one.
But, yes, it does incredible damage. It's one of those guns you gotta get the hang of first before using it in practically. It is my go to weapon for FFYL and just killing a bunch of enemies standing together. Really awesome weapon!
I'm not a fan of the Nukem due to the small mag size and long reload times, but yeah I always have the Badaboom handy for FFYL. Most efficient launcher for explosive builds in my opinion. Still, I'd love to be able to harness the sheer power of the Tunguska but the opportunities are few and far in between.
It's almost as dangerous as the Bunny in that regard. However, another drawback is the double ammo consumption. And unless you're into glitching with the Logan's Gun and Sham in order to regen rocket ammo, you'll tend to run through your funds quite quickly just buying ammo.
