Regarding the Tunguska
So I got my first derp Tunguska dropped by a midget today and I have to say that firing the weapon surprised me more than it should have. And that's saying quite a lot given that it's been ages since I found something genuinely surprising in this game, much less so when it comes to weapons.

Knowing full well of its fabled potential in advance, I proceeded to the open space in front of Scooter's garage, placed myself along the edge (which would put me comfortably out of the range of even the Nukem) and fired a shot aimed at the opposite side. The rocket went in a parabolic arc as (expected), and the orb shot up (as expected). What wasn't expected was that the next thing I know, I was in FFYL. Miscalculation I presumed, and so again proceeded to the same spot, but this time I placed myself even further away at the top of the steps and again fired to the other side across the entire vacant area. And yet again, FFYL right after the orb shoots up an explodes.

So that leaves me to wonder whether this launcher is too powerful for any kind of practical use. Not only is its single-projectile damage downright astronomical surpassing even the Norfleet, but it's absolutely useless unless you're firing it from a mile away.

Thus I have to ask, did anyone get a working build going that makes use of this weapon's borderline broken potential? Even more so for a character with explosive damage boost like Krieg or Axton?

I never played much around with the Tunguska because it is better in killing yourself than any enemies but I think equipping a Sham should be your best bet to stay alive if you're inclined to use it.

I used it a while on my Gaige, mainly for FFYL on UVHM, although I always had to reload it afterwards, which meant I ended up back in FFYL..... It's simply too unreliable for normal use.

I just tested my level 60 on my op3 axton, (ony one I have, and only pearl on any char I have, I don't count captin blade items), stand at the top of the stairs that lead to moxxis just from scooters and shoot at the road area in front of scooters. Should be just out of range, any closer you get hit, that's the distance you need.

I used it for a bit because novelty, I quickly swapped it for another launcher as it wasn't that helpful in ffly.

Hmm, FFYL is an interesting case. On one hand you can easily get a second wind with the Tunguska given its immense damage and blast radius without harming yourself (since you're already crippled), but on the other hand you'll most likely go into FFYL right after getting the second wind if you're unlucky. Well that's my theory anyway.

As for the distance, yeah you gotta be very careful. Especially due to the parabolic trajectory. I'm not sure if Zer0 and Maya can make better use of it through Vel9city and accelerate, but I don't see how the other characters would manage to accommodate the unconventional buffer zone into their playstyle, especially during intense fights.

I find it a real shame that characters who make good use of explosive guns are the ones most vulnerable to the huge damage radius.

However, I have to say one thing... this is one weapon that actually befits its ultra-rare "pearlescent" status, as in it's miles ahead of any legendary. Just that there aren't a lot of opportunities to use it once you manage to get your hands on one.
I don't know about practical use, but you could potentially use it for the Flakker swap glitch

Its massive blast radius makes it unuseable. If you have a choice in the matter, I think there maybe more powerful launchers with better handling like the single-shot Nukem or the multi-shot Badaboom?

It's my favorite Rocket Launcher, hands down. Yes, when you're in FFYL and shoot the thing, you get a kill to second wind but then you also immediately go down again, it's hilarious.

But, yes, it does incredible damage. It's one of those guns you gotta get the hang of first before using it in practically. It is my go to weapon for FFYL and just killing a bunch of enemies standing together. Really awesome weapon!

I'm not a fan of the Nukem due to the small mag size and long reload times, but yeah I always have the Badaboom handy for FFYL. Most efficient launcher for explosive builds in my opinion. Still, I'd love to be able to harness the sheer power of the Tunguska but the opportunities are few and far in between.

It's almost as dangerous as the Bunny in that regard. However, another drawback is the double ammo consumption. And unless you're into glitching with the Logan's Gun and Sham in order to regen rocket ammo, you'll tend to run through your funds quite quickly just buying ammo.

Launchers in general in this game are not worth the trouble. My Zer0 never used one at all, and never missed it one bit.
