Zer0 is capable of dealing insane amounts of damage to wreck bosses in no time.
Maya can be very enduring while Zer0 is more of a glass cannon.
Both are great fun to play and my two favourites to play as.
with like a sniper build or?
you could do a Pistol-build with Zer0, but that would require getting a purple-rarity Shadow Stalker Class Mod and the Sheriff's Badge
Melee Zer0 is really powerful aswell but probably the most gear dependant to be very effective agains bosses.
You can also go for gun and hybrid builds. He has lots of gun damage and crit buffs that work really well with a variety of guns.
I beg to differ dude. just look up on YouTube for various Tediore Axton videos, and you'll see him speed-killing most raid bosses ridiculously fast
I have played axton since borderlands 2 came out up to op8. I am a big axton fan, but my experience is he just does not dominate the major bosses, I will check out the videos,

I think gearing for Tediore Axton is way more time consuming than gearing Axton with say a bee/hornet for basic mobbing or loot midget farming.
true. but for raid bossing only, a Tediore build can be pretty damn impressive once mastered
just as long as you don't commit suicide from a botched Tediore throw
Well said - arguably the highest dps SMG in the game is an Avenger but with a metal-melting element like corrosive, you do not wanna fire this bad boy indoors. Outdoors, it pays to mind your placement carefully when you throw the gun and pray the elemental burst doesn't ricochet off something back to explode on you. Takes just a little practice but it's worthwhile.
About Tediore gear in general, I can't honestly say I ever fully recovered from the brand's overall uselessness in BL1 - of the BL2 arms manufacturers, for me it remains second to worst after Bandit. I respect joltz for doing the video but it was basically his way of accepting the challenge of discussing the effectiveness of the Allegiance mod within his OP8 Axton set which he acknowledges is a highly inefficient build and not recommended for any other purposes than raiding at OP8. PS And he is a damn good Axton main when he actually plays the game.
