Savage lee not dropping the unkempt harold

[HEY]

Normally when I farm him it tkes max 5 runs for him to drop one, sometimes he even drops them back to back, but this run I have killed him 15+ timesand he has yet to drop one. Am I just unlucky or is my game bugged?

Sometimes that happens, there's always a chance for random legendaries to drop from global loot sources.

Youre just unlucky, keep on trying...but why dont you just farm vending machines in torgues campaign....guessing u dont have it...u should get it

if you can go to the marcus mercenary shop, try the train chests in Gingerton ,i found a couple of legendary items in the chests ,shields(sham, black hole ,WTF)quasar grenades, classmods, a tunguska launcher,guns,including harolds,so try it ,(made a screenshot ,so you can see it)

It's really easy to get the 613 tokens, but there's only about a 2% chance any given Torgue machine has a DPUH at any time. If you're really interested I can show you the math.

Its super easy getting a dpuh from the vending machines tbh...everytime i tried, i got one...i think 3 or 4 in total now...u just have to check and reload game...longest was like 30-40 tries which took like 15 min

I was curious so I just tried farming Lee for the first time in a long while and you've gotta give the RNG a chance to do its stuff. I just killed Lee 100 times and got 2 x Unkempt Harolds & 1 x Double Penentrating Unkempt Harold (more than usual for me - usually 1 x Harold per 50 tries in the past).

And if you're too lazy to farm, I've always had good luck buying a Harold from the Torgue Vendor @ Pete's Bar. Crappy gun to spend your tokens on imho & the Torgue machines sell better arms than Harolds if you want.

dontu_worry gave you the most efficient way of cornering / killing Lee in his video. Watch it more carefully for the appropriate element & a useful gun.

The adavantages of that run are that it's quick, and you don't need to bother with any mongs, unless you kill Lee and he drops a Harold. 3 mongs will show when you go to collect your gun, unless you let him come all the way to you, but, that's time, too. If he happens to appear behind the spawn, you can kill him there, jump in the car and still do the run I've shown.

Do you have the Torgue dlc? Probably easier farming Torgue vendors. That's how I always get a Double Penetrating Unkempt Herald. => Best answer and best way to farm it. Pretty 'easy' to do with a high level character on a lowest run (eq lvl 50 on 1 st run, get token from bar then go to your actual run and reload vendor until you get what you want).
Pretty easy and not so long to do, believe me ive done it 10 time (even for OP unkept, its usefull).

I know. I've camped on that machine a few times. Horrendous.

Yup, you're down to just under 3/10ths of a percent for a Torgue grip. Could easily take thousands of tries.

At least Axton specced heavily into Gunpowder can make use of a Kerblaster as a grenade launcher for enemy (usually marauders) behind cover. Very limited use though. I haven't found any use for a Flakker yet. I'd be interested to hear if someone has!
