Rocket Launcher Build

Would it be viable at all to have a class focus on purely rocket launchers and shotguns? (like the soldier from tf2) or would it be impossible to get enough ammo? You would only use your shotgun when out of rocket launcher ammo, so if theres some way to have a constant stream of rocket ammo then it SEEMS like it could be viable. What are your guys opinions? Also, you wouldnt use your action skill, but could spec into anything and get bonuses.

OP8 Axton/Salvador, 94 % Sham, low level Badaboom for rocket regen/jumping (2x for Sal), Norfleet's for damage (2x for Sal, still pref to get all elements)... thats all for the main kit, you can also get Grog Nozzle for yourself if you want to get some healing.

Axton can buff Rocket Launcher damage and Gun Damage in general and Salvador is good DPS wise as always. Krieg can get use of many rocket launchers also with all the explosive damage buffs but still not as good as Axton and Sal for Rocket Launcher builds.

Edit: Just take your time to finish all missions first and then focus on farming for items.
