If Totems appeared on the map after collecting them...
Then I would actually go for the achievement. For now I don't think I want to check all 60 possible locations to know which one's I've gotten and not. Zelda Botw and Totk both do this with korok seeds, appearing on the map after you've collected them (only when zoomed in all the way so they don't clutter the map either). Any possibility of this feature being added to the game?

That'd be dope. You may have seen my post earlier this year when I collected all but one, and on the interactive map I had ticked off all of them. I had to search every spot a second time.

I did manage to figure out which totem number I was missing by diving into my save data as raw text. Each totem is marked as being True or False depending on if you've collected it or not. My problem was that I didn't have a way to know which totem was which number!

Holy cow! I was merely foreseeing myself running into that exact problem, especially when the totems can be anywhere and aren't obvious when in view so it can be easy to overlook one. Maybe the developer is still willing to update this game? Or maybe someone can come up with a tool to scan one's save data to determine which totem(s) a player is missing?

Were you able to decipher which totem is which in the raw text?
This could be discovered if anyone wants to play through the game again and check their save data text each time they pick up a totem to identify each one.

Yea, the save data contains strings that each start with "Totem [number]" followed by a true or false condition. The problem is that all the resources about Praey number the totems from top left of the map (NW) to bottom right (SE) without correlating to the totem numbers as found in the save file. So unless someone wants to play through while also checking their save each time they collect one, it's not super helpful information.

The worst part about doubling back was there were a few totems that I was 100% certain I collected, like the one on the ledge in the temple. What I had forgotten was that I died without saving after, so while I had collected the totem, I lost it. So the totem I missed was literally the 60th spot I checked. I was pretty mad, not at the devs, but at myself for jumping to that conclusion.

It's been a while since I played Praey. Maybe I should do the Lord's work and map out which totem is actually which and build a save check tool.

Hi, I see that your request dates back to a few months ago and I don't know if you have collected all the totems in the meantime. Anyway, I recently completed this game and decided to create a guide for the collectibles, showing where they are located and explaining how to check for missing ones (to also help players who have already collected some). The link to the guide is below, take a look if you're still missing some totems (feedback is welcome):

I have not played this game since I made that comment. Thank you so much for making this! I will try it out and let you know (on the guide page) if it needs any more work.
