and the OST in several tropicos already comes with several latin bands. (mamborama (T3), alex torres (T4 and T5) cesar paucar (T5), etc)
That's how my post starts lol. I know we had great tracks back in previous Tropico, that they were made by actual artists... They said they won't collaborate with artists. That's why I'm asking for this kind of DLCs to happen.
Inteview with PC Gamer youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN5UCeK1324
Go at 17:51, guy asking about music and listen to the answer.
Thanks all of you for expressing your point of view btw..
Currently, music is still being recorded.
Be assured, we know about how much you like and enjoy Tropico and how important the music is.
-cheers
Quote taken from the PC Gamer interview.
I didnt get the name of your manager, the guy in the interview, but yeah he said that so..
That's the part where I thought you guys weren't actually working with artists... and I don't mean your sound designer isn't an "artist", I just ment some famous names from previous Tropicos like Ernst Cornell mentioned in his reply.
Thanks for the answer, really appreciated. I guess we're done then, devs answer = best answer obviously lol.
Again keep up the good work, can't wait to play Tropico 6.
-cheers
Long live Tropico
Can't wait. :)
Great Job guys!!
It sounds like the music is from several sources and not a single band. So far I have only been able to track down two.
'Cuban Cigar' by Peter Godfrey

Steve Tirpak's 'No Se Que Hacer (feat. Jose Berrios)'

There is another Tirpak song that I thought was in the game but it appears I was wrong. I think it was only partially used in a Tropico 6 trailer.
This great music needs to be in the next Tropico!
