I am hopelessly addicted to this game. It's really fun to border the line between being a caring person and doing the most evil ♥♥♥♥ possible.

Great funny city-building game. One of the best, I think. El prezidente and the missions are hilarious and challenging, more so than the previous iterations of Tropico. The 6th version is also more complex and beautiful.

I love that the eras introduce you to gradually more complex economy, infrastructure and politics of each era and also that it has a lot more focus on tourism, if you want, which is also much more profitable than in the last games.

I recommend this game for anyone who likes to build big cities, be a benevolent or evil dictator, play with tourism and resorts... You can do a lot of things in Tropico 6, deal drugs, fight with pirates or other nations armies, be an ecologist or not, build on water, organize concerts and festivals. I find a particular building very useful: the trade one, which lets you selling very expensive goods to other nations and, at the same time, making them grateful for your greed.

Pros:
- funny, beautiful city building simulation
- el prezidente can promise anything and makes you laugh
- complex economy, politics/diplomacy
- now it has some beautiful buildings, on water or decorated with plants; it also has more decorations than other Tropicos, so you can build a beautiful city
- IMO the best of Tropico games
- the music is the best among all the games I've played on Steam

Cons:
- for someone not familiar with Tropico series, it has a steep learning curve; you can lose money pretty fast if you don't know what you're doing.

OMG fix the road system please...I would love it if I can just place one segment and not get the road too short message, I would love a toggle between bending and curving and actually the freedom to decide where i want my road to be and also
I would love the road to be able to have way point abilities..so i can just easily grid or bend when I'd like too if the terrain allows, this shouldn't be this frustrating in a modern day game!
