Request of HotMT GNU\Linux port

Game looks interesting to me, but I won't buy it now because it has no Linux support.
Will there be Linux build in the near future?

Started using HOMT in Linux and I have to say that I am impressed thus far. Here is a basic sitrep for now:

I have the game running on three different systems.

- Older Dell Notebook (Dell Latitude), i3, Intel graphics, Ubuntu 16.04
- Intel Graphics so I did not run the laptop on the highest settings, but rather two options
below fantastic (good or beautiful were actually running ok)
- Install ran without issue, performed run through first level with no bugs or issues to report
- Midrange Gaming System, i5, NVIDIA GTX 770, Linux Mint 18
- Ran game under 'fantastic' option (1st LVL), game ran without issue, did not try other modes
- Higher End Gaminmg PC, i7, NVIDIA GTX 970, Linux Mint 18
- Ran game under 'fantastic' option (1st LVL), game ran without issue, did not try other modes

This was just a basic run through, I'll go ahead and play through a few more levels and see if I run into any major issues and then edit this post with any new findings.

Not a problem cedric, I will continue testing as I progress through the game and let you know if I run into any potential issues.

Maybe I should put this into it's own thread, but as it's Linux-related it seems ok for here. It will not run after it installs saying there is no executable. It is pointing it to a mounted partition on the same drive that holds all my other Steam games and works for those just fine.

If I need to I will repost this seperately, but some help here would be nice. I like playing this game but I only use windows a minority of the time.

In order to launch Linux version, you need to opt in Linux beta.
To do so, open your Steam Library, right-click on Heroes of the Monkey Tavern, select Properties, select Betas tab, then type in a certain magic word and activate beta access.

In order to get the magic word, please send email to [e-mail].
