This. +1. I've been gaming on multiple platforms since the late 80s. I'm hardly a "noob," just an informed customer who knows what she wants. Game on your own terms, no one else's. #Gamersrule
The reason for this is that our game is quite interface heavy and making it comfortable to use with controller would require completely remaking majority of the interface, which would take enormous amounts of time.
Nevertheless, controller support will quite likely be added at some point in the future after 1.0 release.
Maybe you should post your control scheme somewhere. So even if it is keyboard and mouse bound; it's functional and not like Planet Centauri's....who's controls gave me Ultima flashbacks.
idk what your control layout is like but some basic support would be nice. Just the real time stuff like fighting, jumping and ect. If we had to use the mouse to build, craft and ect that'd be fine.
Games like Fire Pro World manage this; the actual fighting can be gamepad based but anything creative is faster and easier with the mouse.
I've got a xbox one, how does that help in situation? Think about it.
