If you go to an empty server the bots will join automatically, but they will get kicked if a real person join to the server too

It does, but limited to 2v2 it seems.

It's more fun for me though than those garbage online only, microtransaction infested, predatory grinding and lootbox gambling fests... even it a broken form.
