Are there any mods that unlock fps without disabling achievements?
I wanted to experience this game with more fps, since I'm not used to playing with only 60, but the problem is that I don't know if it will disable the achievements,

I tried changing game files, and it gave more fps, but the npcs started to move very slowly,

If anyone knows any mods please tell me,

Thanks.

Mods disable achievements. I think there are a few graphics-only mods that might not, but in general all mods disable achievements. But if you are going to use mods anyway, just add one of the mods that enables achievements again. You don't need a single mod to do both.

In a lot of threads here people have problems with higher than 60 fps due to scripting errors. I do not remember the tech reasons given but going back to 60 fps solved the problems.
Also the is a mod the enables achievements with mods.

esp; esm; esl plugins disable achievements.

SKSE mods (.DLL) do not disable achievements.

SSE Engine Fixes is an SKSE plugin (.DLL) that re-enables achievements for any esp; esm; esl plugins.

SSE Display Tweaks (also a .DLL plugin) is the mod to unlock 60+ FPS.

There are people who say that you can play the game with FPS above 60 and do no harm.
However, Bethesda itself has said that FPS above 60 screws with script timing.
TBH, I do not have a link to share or I would, so believe it or not.
Play the game above 60 FPS and your saved game will eventually go FUBAR.

I solemnly swear that it is true, see I'm old enough to remember back to Win 3.1, an all flavors in between, at the time Skyrim was released 60 Mhz was the only refresh rate. THE ONLY refresh rate, there fore the games were written for 60 FPS, any faster and the script just cant keep up. U can do it, but IT'S SO NOT WORTH IT..

I had NV running at over 100 FPS as a experiment, the game ripped it's self apart.

That is correct. Playing at over 60 FPS is a do at your own risk, and if you have issues with the game, the only help we can give you is to tell you to start a new game and cap the FPS at 60. Information regarding this can be found here:

Here. U can install a huge chunk of mods and still be able to earn achievements, as long as they aren't full overhaul mods like Enderal. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/245

Only mods that contain an plugin (a .esm, .esp, .esl) file will disable achievements.

Ignore this, OP. This is a false claim and many players including myself play this game without issue with more than 60fps.

The game was originally designed to be run at 30fps with 800x600 resolution by the way. The game can then have issues at any frame rate and crash even when completely unmodified. Of course, it can be run with 60fps or more as well as higher resolutions, and can be modified in countless ways.

If your NPCs start moving slowly then this is not due to the high frame rate as this does not occur with an unmodded game. You will either have messed up your settings or are running this game with some mods that do not like high frame rates.

I recommend using the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and the SSE Engine Fixes. The second mod will enable achievements even when using mods (by default). If you want to run the game at very high frame rates and are experiencing issues then try installing the SSE Display Tweaks as these will adjust some of the game's .ini parameters to match the frame rate.

Unofficial Patch: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/266
SSE Engine Fixes: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230
SSE Display Tweaks: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34705

Some mods do not like running with high frame rates. This is due to their mod authors either not caring for it or being unable to test it beyond 60fps. In parts does it also have to do with old habits, but there are also mods that do the opposite and allow for very high frame rates. I.e.:

To any reading this thread, some persons are nothing more than bad actors looking to spread their own brand of misinformation; the individual posting above is one such. This issue has been researched to death and, besides the original link, there is this:

Instead of changing things to run above the game parameter of 60 FPS which it was not designed to do, change your display settings so that the screen refresh rate is 60.

In the forums, the top causes of people breaking their games are as follows (based upon my experience encompassing nearly 8 years helping in the forums with thousands of hours of help and 35,000+ posts - over 85% helping posts):

1 - improper modding technique or knowledge leading to mod conflicts (this used to be 4th, but with the introduction of .esl files and therefore the elimination - for all practical purposes - of a plugin cap, it is now the #1 issue, and all others have been moved down one place in the list)
2 - Removing mods midplaythrough
3 - Using console commands
4 - Exceeding the 60 FPS cap
5 - not using the Unofficial Patch

And, the abbreviated version:

Since Bethesda did away with their forums, anything that was posted in them was lost, so that all the information and links are basically contained in that linked topic - based upon the existing knowledge of many of the attributed authors of cited posts and extensive experience by many of the contributors both in helping in the forums and in working and studying the game itself over the years.

Some time ago, Bethesda silently locked the game at 60 FPS (it had never been locked before, as exceeding 60 was not something that was a thing). This was a move made in response to the fact that people had begun increasingly attempting to play the game in excess of 60 FPS due to the better technology available on PCs and monitors (and proliferation of mods) that made exceeding 60 possible - and with all the issues that doing so resulted in. The fact of Bethesda locking the game at 60 in light of this, is perhaps the single best indication that the game is not designed to be played over 60 FPS.

Exceeding 60 FPS is one of those things that we wish was possible in a reliable manner, but unfortunately, despite what we would hope for and wish, none of the proposed solutions has proven to be reliable or foolproof. It would seem that the only way to reliably address this is for Bethesda itself to rework the game engine so as to uncouple it from the FPS. Hopefully we will see something better implemented with Starfield and the next TES game (whenever that might be).

The bottom line is that it is up to the individual to decide if they wish to risk things by uncapping, but given all that we have seen over the years as to problems, it is just not something that those of us with long experience in the forums can ever recommend in any form (nor something that we can help with if a person does decide to uncap their game - it's a "do at your own risk" type of deal) - hence why people always see us posting that the FPS should not be uncapped and that it should always be set no higher than 60. It's a "best practices" approach.

Just ignore this OP. If one were to believe the narrative then one cannot use mods with this game, because of the repeated large numbers of players reporting problems with mods... Obviously do many players not care and mod their game anyway, and for good reasons.

But that's the thing, it's possible to both earn achievements AND use mods. All OP needs to do is use the Achievements Mods Enabler mod, to which I provided the Nexus link.

It is a good mod, although nowadays do many choose the SSE Engine Fixes instead because it fixes issues with the game (as the mod name suggests) and on top enables achievements with mods and so makes other achievement enablers obsolete.

Here's the thing, right. Maybe unlocking FPS breaks things over time. But most people are not spending more than 100 hours on a save anyway. If you listen to the fearmongering priests on the forums, you'll never be allowed to remove any mod from an existing save ever again, you'll have to stand still for 30 seconds after every single loading screen, you'll have to be happy with 60fps, you'll never be allowed to save while your character is in combat, you'll have to restart the entire game every time you reload a save, etc.

And yeah, maybe all these things can help prevent your save from dying. You know what else can be said of these things? They're a massive PITA and suck the fun right out of playing Skyrim.

I say ignore the fearmongering, accept that there is some risk and just play anyway.

My motto is: if my save dies, it dies. Tough luck. I'd rather experience the game at 120fps than have to play with 60fps in the hopes that I avoid a few bugs or a dead save 100s of hours in.
