Horse is slow with unlocked framerate
I followed the steps to unlock the framerate, modifying the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. It works fine, runs like butter at 144hz, but my horse is very slow. The animations shows the horse running but it's moving at a walking speed. Anyone have this issue?

Uncapping the FPS past 60 causes many issues. They vary from user to user. The game was never intended to run faster than that.

I have that as well. But its also affecting all the NPCs

Unlocking fps will break your game in many colorful ways, so yes that could be a symptom of it.

So are the .ini fixes broken now due to the update? Mine was working just fine before today

the ini fixes were never a good solution, the engine sort of breaks when the fMaxTime deviates too far from the frametiming.

I just use this currently https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4875?tab=files HAVOC FPS is untied to the FPS via the ini tweaks by no means perfect it should be alright until a fully untied and patched FPS fixer such as that suggested is works once the Address Library for SKSE is updated. On the train of thought here I just checked SSE Engine Fixes and that modder has decided not to update that mod so good bye old friend that thing made even the most heavy of mods installs run amazing.

That mod is currently broken since the latest update, why are people sending mods to people that require SKSE Address Library....

The assembler has been updated in this latest SkyrimSE from 2016 to 2019 so all of the ID codes which make Address Lib work are also now wrong and broken using this mod will cause address lookup failed every time you launch SKSE, Updating SKSE will not fix this mod.

This also allows the fps to cap off at 144? I can't see any mention of it in the description.

I'm also getting the sluggish horse. :( I have a 165hz monitor and was just testing its g-sync... but I couldn't tell for sure it was anniversary upgrade because before this I always played skyrim at 110Hz/fps cap. I'll try to cap down back to 110fps and see what happens.

At 120hz I was getting a sluggish horse, so I doubt it'll work at 110Hz.

Yes, there was no difference between 165 and 110. Bummer. Gotta find now which tweak to do in ini to overcome this issue. :(
Too bad Bethesda's "hail" to the community is not really in form of supporting them.

But the concert was awesome! Despite it was not live...

By the way, it is not just horse who gets slow. As far as I could notice, everyone became slow. Bears chasing the horse, elks and foxes running away, and also random encounters' bad guys. Even with the sluggish horse I could easily evade their attacks.

Wow, so we can confirm the game is definitively broken when running at unlocked FPS.
