You're not getting Steam Workshop.
May as well stop asking about it. Maybe a mod will pin this.

Bethesda Softworks has their own mod repository now. Bethesda.net. Its why you have that crappy mod installation interface inside the game now. And why you can't access the old load order list from the launcher.

No, they won't make a Workshop page also. They are going hardcore into supporting mods for consoles and will do nothing that might split their community. They want PC modders to upload to B.N. and, while they're there, load up a console version of their mods.

You can still get and use Nexus just fine. Even better since B.N. is actually a worse setup than Workshop was.

Nexus will still support this version of Skyrim

The nexus is still the best way to get mods, i dont see any reason to you the workshop really... They are now working on a new mod installer together with the creator of Mod orginizer and the nexus is flooded with great mods and it has a great amazing community behind it

Hey, how 'bout you make your own thread for your problem - then people can help you fix it.

Not sure how BethesdaNet is worse than Workshop.

Workshop was nice (I still use it for soem mods), but has some actual issues w/ Skyrim. BethesdaNet seems to be a better solution all around.

Have you seen how their mods are displayed? Have you seen how cumbersome the load order manager is? Have you tried their search function? Its all a low-effort production - especially when compared to what already exists and has existed for years.

Noone should use the Workshop anyway on Beth games, Nexus is where it is (and has always been) at.

Personally I don't mind. I haven't used the Steam Workshop for ages. I used NMM for Skyrim LE and I quite like the in-game installation interface. I don't find it crappy at all.

it depends on the new creation kit coming out next week. if it brute forces upload to bethesda without any options to save to disk instead, then op is correct. but most modders believe the ck wont force pc modders to upload and my friend says FO4 crashes when she tries to access the bethesda in game mod menu and that it doesnt work. im not holding my breath, but crossing fingers that pc modders will at least start modding once a new skse is made available, at least until console owners start stealing mods they downloaded from LL and nexus and upload them to bethesda net trying to claim them as their own or charge money for them or something.

It doesn't depend on anything. The CK will have the same functionality as the FO4 one - there will be built in support for uploading to B.N. (*not* automatically uploaded at anytime without your permission - you still own the mod) but your work is saved locally and can be uploaded to Nexus (if you choose or not uploaded at all).

i hate the fact that because of console peasants who treat their achivements like representation of their penises sizes, we on PC have to suffer with disabled achievement when we have enabled mods. This is stupid decision i suggest every MODDER - BOYCOTT CONSOLES AND BETHNET, DONT UPLOAD ANY MODS FOR THEM UNTIL BETHESDA WILL REMOVE THIS STUPID ACHIVEMENTS LIMITATION FROM SKYRIM AND FALLOUT 4! We are glorius PC MASTER RACE, not some retarder console peasants, we dont tolerate any consolish limitatios of our volk! Do you want console peasants to rob you and prevent you from getting achievements? Yes or no?
