How do i manually sort load order in Vortex?
I figured out one thing. One of the mods is loading BEFORE the master files due to how VORTEX ordered the mods. Is there a way in vortex to manaully move the load order since LOOT does not work in Morrowind?

1) go to the plugins screen
2) double click on the esp or esm filename (a window will open to the right)
3) select the "Locked to index" near the bottom
4) type in the index you want in the text windoe

It SOUNDS like you're talking about install order. Personally, I would use MO for this.

I am talking about load order. I decided to install Vortex though....someone told me MO is more complicated than Vortex...

AWESOME! That is kinda what i was looking for. Thank you very much!

UPDATED: Sadly, this does not work with the morrowind mods, but it works with all the rest of the mods. Apparently, you can just click on the morrowind mods to move them i think...

sorry I have not used vortex for morrowind yet my morrowind mods are currently installed manually, I did not expect it to differ from skyrim

Apparently it does. Guess we are both learning about Vortex today. The only thing i can say is one of the mods shows as a master file and im not sure. If you wait a bit on this post, ill try to post a picture of the file im talking about being shown as a master file.

It should be, but even after i edit it in vortex, it moves back up in the data files. Not sure if this is a VORTEX issue, or the mod itself issue. I asked on the modders page. Looks like the modder is still active on the page, so maybe they might give me a answer. I am also going to try to delete it and reinstall it too. Also, another mod was doing it too shortly ago. I changed it by dragging it in the plugins tab on vortex, but it is not working for this patch..

I don't know either, it seems Vortex is a different beast when used with Morrowind, someone on the mod page may know

I hope so because deleting and reinstalling did nothing. As for Vortex being a different beast, yes it is. Even if im still new with it, it seems to have issues with Morrowind still. I did make a complain ticket to nexus about it, so i might get a response from them too.

I actually wish LOOT would work with Morrowind..Sadly it is not compatible..
