Difference between forest and imperial ruins?
Is there any difference between forests and imperial ruins besides their looks? Both seem to give 50% and even give the same ressources. I wish they actually would make a difference or am I missing something?

I am actually not 100% sure, but I think forest hides your unit, unless fired from it or have a enemy unit next to you, where ruins do not hide you. both do block line of sight, and both give you the same defense bonus against ranged.

If they both block line of sight they should both hide units. I'm sure ruins would be easy enough to hide in. Shouldn't rocks provide some cover too?

Will test it later, but it seemed to me that ruins do not hide units, but wood did.

Imperial ruins also hide units. So there is no difference I guess.

How're their LoS work ? I can't figure out. Do they give (-1) or block completely ?

Maybe forests could be changed to +30% melee protection and +30% ranged protection, or something similar so it has a slightly different tactical use.

Not sure how it would affect balance, but it would be interesting to see infantry units not be hindered by forest or ruin's terrain when moving. Line of sight would still be blocked.

Maybe give a bonus to shot from cities, to show units may be "upstairs" or in better position to shot.

And forest, maybe you are harder to hit, but if you are, you take more damage due to trees folling, or something alike ?
