BUT, this is prob the first time i see someone complaining about MANA FRENZY, like, this is something to keep a match from going for a long time, i've already had matches that went to up to 14 min, i can only imagine these matches without mana frenzy, would be a nightmare, imagine playing one match of minion masters where both you and your opponent have amazing defensive cards, and so nobody is able to dish out a lot of damage, imagine that both even have healing puffs or clear skies. without mana frenzy those type of matches would take soooo long, as it forces both players to play more aggressively and in a certain pace.
This mechanic needs to be gone.
If the enemies are consistently reaching mana frenzy, they are doing so because they're better than you.
There's essentially a few different ways you can win the game.
1. Win the game quickly with a rush-style deck
2. Win the game with a huge single push (IE: A tank, a priestess, DPS, etc)
3. Win the game by slowly chipping down your opponents health
4. Out value your opponent and win the game through perk advantage / mana frenzy
There's probably a couple more, but you get the idea. If you're allowing your opponents to constantly have better trades and better bridge control, then you need to be able to end the game quicker. Before they reach frenzy.
Frenzy is a good mechanic - it allows there to be an extra win condition in which you win through a control-style deck and through out valuing your opponent. If frenzy didn't exist, there would be no real reason to run control decks. People who are more aggressive would just always win otherwise.
It's not like people reach frenzy first due to RNG or something of that sort - it is their reward for out playing you for a long period of time.
+1
The essense on this game is quick and fast matches, based only on counterplay.
You dont get to mana frenzy before 8 min+, at that point the match is a 100% stalemate.
Mana frenzy is the sudden death system kiking in and it works perfectly.
Honestly, if the match reaches mana frenzy, you and your opponent have ineffective decks or mirror decks.
A good match are thouse won or lost in under 3 minutes! A bad match are thouse that drags out to 7+ minutes.
That beeing said, i can prolly count on 1 hand how many times i reach mana frenzy as a master rank as exlusivly random 2v2 player, so i guess mana frenzy triggers more frequently in the lower ranks.
Some people lose a match and have two options to pick.
1) Hmm, maybe there could be some things I could do differently and win next game. Maybe a study of every game mechanic and how to use them to win would be a good thing.
2) Its the game's fault, ♥♥♥♥, nerf everything, remove every game mechanic, Blame everything else.
If this is the game where everyone loses, then how are there people that win? People don't win every game, but if someone is losing every game, then self reflection may be what's needed in order to achieve victory.
1) to not make the game super long
2) Itc actually fun, u can run it down without thinking much, u know
Are you serious? Currently you only have have 1.7 hours of playtime and are already blaming mana frenzy because you lose some games...man up and stop blaming others by your mistakes
if they only have 1.7 hours, they are likely still facing bots which makes complaining about mana frenzy even more confusing.
most people for the first few hours or even longer think they are a natural bad ass at minion masters cause they keep winning and don't realize they are facing bots for the most part
Mana Frenzy isnt the end, its the beginning of all out war :D
