However, things aren't looking great on that front. A recent announcement said that with each new expansion, any Legendary cards (usually flashy ones with special effects) are going to be locked behind a paywall until the expansion is over (about a month). So you'll have to cough up 1500 rubies (about £6 or $8), or wait a month to get it.
And on top of all that, Twitch drops pop out like candy. You don't have to idle in Twitch streams, just install Chatty (https://chatty.github.io/) and add all Minion Masters streamers to your fav list.
The dlcs themselves were actually each free for a few days when they first released, the devs normally release one with each new expansion as a little promotional thing so you'll probably be able to grab a starter box in a couple days when the new season starts.
I recommend signing up for the newsletters, you get free cards on occasion via codes.
Also Team Battles and Quests help with the cards as well.
This game isn't pay-to-win, just save up for crafting, do quests, ??, profit. (=
even tho there are commons, rares epics n legendaries.
that doesnt tell anything bout how useful they are.
actualy legendaries are the worse in this game :D
they all might have their place n right to exist. but they all come with rather huge down sides.
epics are kinda situational. there are some, very few, that i would consider must haves.
( succubus,
which leaves commons n rares being the best cards in this game.
if you happen to understand the cards well, even the starter set can bring you into master ranks.
all it requests from you is time. if you pay for season pass you just get new cards faster. Skins in the passes however takes along time before they hit the marked. If you cant unlock the cards they will be avalible to be crafted when the pass ends.
2 masters rotate for free on a weekly basis.
kinda goes hand in hand with player skill and luck.
having a legendary card or copypaste the leaderboard decks dont mean you will win the matches.
Yeah when I see people say o have fun you won't advance further I just chuckle I hit gm my first season without spending a dime. You can either build decks or you can't. The game isn't hard to climb in.
You literally fell for marketing ploy. Do you know how easy it is to get to grandmaster? The game is designed to make players feel good about their lackluster skills.
playing exlusivly random 2v2 and it is a different matter, but then again, game aint made for 2v2.
