Is minion masters based on a custom gamemode from Warcraft 3? If so which one?

If minion masters is based on another similar game, then is THAT one based on a custom gamemode from wc3 ?

If you had to pick a custom map; We were quite inspired by Card Shuffle from Starcraft, but it's a combination of a lot of inspirations like most things.

these types of games been around for ages, I mean go to facebook or w/e and they likely still have a ton of these. (though idk I quit facebook games years ago and only played a couple that were like this on facebook).

But ya warcraft/starcraft had many many many player made things that became more popular (mobas like dota being biggest)
