How to counter grasping thorns -> call to arms?

Thorns for some reason are untargetable, so how do I get rid of them? It says they're vulnerable to "area effect damage", but they're only 2 mana each.

The call to arms after my minions die in the thorns is a great combo and I don't know how to counter this... any ideas?

Daggerfall destroys them and it is just 3 mana and has a fairly wide range. if they put down 2 or more it is already profit since the combined cost is higher

Yes but will daggerfall get both of them? If I only get 1, it will be mana inefficient.

Do you think daggerfall is better than fireball? Fireball can hit face and has much higher damage...

if you time summoning an annihilator right when an enemy is crossing them it'll take care of it... or any AOE minion really.

Daggerfall is a good counter. You are not really losing 1 mana because the building would become a warrior instead. So you are denying your opponent additional mana efficiency.

Any AOE from minions or spells. Can't remember if searching 'AOE' in deck builder gets all of them or not. But don't forget options like Illu Cleaver or Morgrul If you need to get creative. These are fast moving creatures with an AOE.

I think untargeted spells like Milloween's perk 2 might also work, not sure. Also not sure about Wheel of doom.

Confirmed: Wheel of Doom and Arcane Missiles both kill Grasping Thorns

You can also try flying Minions, since they ignore the Thorns and can easily kill Warriors.
