How do I switch chat server?

Because Russian community isn't as large. And it's useful with Tri-Team events to stay on global English chat, when streamers are giving away keys.

there should be a command /setdefaultchannel <channelname> to set whatever starting channel you want, (the default channel used to be "global", the russian default channel is called "russian" and the chinese default channel is called "chinese")

Thank you. I think it should be one of the first welcome messages in language-specific channels. When I open up the game, I get "Welcome to the Global chat" message, though it's russian-only. If possible, try to change it to something russian-ish and mention this command, because I think I'm not the only one willing to stay in Global chat, when I'm in search of desired codes (there are not any Russian streamers unfortunately).
