why not create an unranked option?
All in the title. Why isn't there an unranked option when queueing for a match. Sometimes I just want to chill without the pressure of having to go ranked or not wanting to lose games and lose ranks. I also want to test new decks but am kinda reluctant to do so because of the rank! wouldn't it be possible to have an unranked option to test decks and play without winning or losing points?

The playerbase is the limitation. They can't divide them even more, but I would like to see this be a thing when the playerbase grows.

If you lose a rank you don't lose anything. So just battle away and nvm the rank.

You do lose something, the rank itself. That's exactly the point. You can't experiment with new or fun decks, because you'll butcher your rank. If you want to get it back again you'll have to grind back to it, whereas a casual mode would've let you keep your rank and try new decks before taking them into competetive play or play fun/meme decks.

Thanx @carlospaul i got your point. @sh0gunrules thats exactly what I meant @nahwt I dont really mind losing a couple games, its... a GAME I agree on that, but to test new decks and try out new things as shogun mentioned casual mode would be nice

Not enough players => don't want to release => not ready yet because not enough players => not enough players => lol.

But you lose merely the rank...that's a number, nothing more. Rewards are given only the first time you rank up anyway. It's imo a very minor penalty unless you are playing in master.

High rank means high quality matches, at least way more of them. At low rank the matches are boring as hell and all you can play are "carry" decks because you'll likely get paired with an unexperienced teammate.
