This game makes my PC run very hot
So I want to preface this by saying I love the game, currently at 288 hours played and would love to continue but since getting my new computer it makes my laptop run warmer then any other game I play. I am just curious if anyone else has encountered this issue and if so a fix for it.

I was in this game first appeared artifacts today. The video card is already old(warranty period is long gone), but the fact remains. Minion master, you owe me a graphics card. xD

In the case of artifacts, dust can actually be the problem.

I had a 8800GT, the screen would sometimes go into a chess board mode, with squares all over it, then the driver would crash, recover, and do it again within 15 minutes. I dusted it, the card still works to this day.

While on the integrated video card... I washed the radiator so far, I rubbed the card with
pure alcohol and tomorrow I'll put a new paste.

Hertz frequency decreases slightly(Core/Memory clock) and helped mb in MSIAfterburner. Not everything is so joyful. ;-/

Most of the time, artifacts after high temperature are permanent (especially green/pink squares on textures) nothing can be done :(

they appear when I start installing drivers, and they do not install. Without drivers they are not visible and the color did not remember. Worked for 6 years Gigabyte 670gtx with 36 months warranty inclusive ;(
This game pretty well with my Ryzen 3 with integrated Vega graphics. 1080p 120hz medium preset.

It was always a terribly optimized game. Something like this should work on a potato, but the game has problems even on a powerful computer.
In addition, the developers, in their total idiocy, decided to render huge maps for combat some time ago, 1/3 of which can be seen during the game. Since then, I have been experiencing drops regularly, sometimes to 10FPS lol, although games released this year run without any problems at maximum details.
So, you know, its not your problem, its the developers fault.

Imho, the biggest issue is that BetaDwarf chose to keep the Unity's based game engine for Minion Masters (MM) and that thing used to have a somewhat huge memory leak and that sort of issue tends to get worse the more time you've got the game open. Not sure if they properly addressed it but from previous, personal experiences regarding BetaDwarf I somehow highly doubt it and that's probably why they're now sort of pushing their so called MM "version 2.0" to be delievered onto the public.

So, my humble suggestion as I used to do when played MM is never to have more than 1h tops sessions of the game open. And after that time frame I highly recommend closing the game, checking if it's actually closed upon the Windows' "Task Manager" and then restarting MM (for another 1h tops cycle).

This is not the issue here as a memory leak does not make the GPU run hot, also this problem happens immediately after launching the game even for me with 128Gb of DDR5.

There's something wrong with the game using a lot of GPU on certain settings especially when using high resolutions such as 4K. I'm not sure what is the problem exactly but the settings I posted will fix this problem. The only troubleshooting I've done is checking if the problem is fixed by capping the FPS but it doesn't matter.

Also it isn't related by how powerful your GPU is because I experienced this issue with a GTX 1080, RTX2080 and RTX3080 all of which should be more than enough to run this game easily.

my old PC of 10 years the game would get slower the longer i ran it...had to reboot about every hour or so...on my new PC it has no memory leak and i have had no crashes at all...
