at plat, you cannot just put down any card and expect it to work, nor can you add cards to the deck and hope it does ok cuz the card looks cool. you need to look at each cards strenghts and weakness cuz every single card has them.
you allso need to learn to counter play. you want to eliminate the threat using as little mana as possible.
the game is not all about rushing to GM. if you cant get past plat 5 or diamond 5, then it means you have reached your limit for the time beeing, and i promise you, it aint the cards or the master that is holding you back.
i took the defualt starter deck out on a spin in master 5 random duo before the rank reset, won just as many games as i lost, and that deck is ment for wood to silver.
lastly, dont copy paste the leaderboards. you will NOT understand how thouse deck are to be used, and cut down on morellia use, you wont learn to play the game if you use her 9 of 10 times.(cuz she is brain dead easy to use)
the higher i get i see morellia and 2x morellia opponents at least half the time, says something does it not......?
yes, that 90% of the playerbase has no clue how to play the game and are exlusivly banking on the dragon to carry them, and it does cuz players pre diamond has no idea how to deal with a dragon in one lane and a minion push in the other.
pre morellia it was stormbringer in 9/10 games cuz he is just as easy to use as she is.
I'm new to the game but I'm Diamond 5, How do you deal with a dragon in one lane and a minion push in the other?
but you want aoe damaging minions + tank to counter the minion push and stun damaging minions + air/aoe minions to stop the dragon when it has passed the bridge and to take out its support.
there are several ways to deal with this issue but thouse two are the basic ways that every rookie should learn.
Thanks for the info, I always try to send my tanks with support and use the right units to counter theirs. I didn't have much trouble reaching Diamond since I think until Silver/Gold is mostly just bots. I haven't seen the Dragon yet, but the problem I see is some units that can't be easily countered like Defenso chopper that usually make me fall behind. Another thing is that I play Duo with my friends at Silver and lower and get ran over by well coordinated duos with tons of high mana threads that my friends don't know how to answer like double Bahra Witch Wolf or Wolf Moon + something else, basically a bunch of big guys.
premade is harder due to the higer level of teamwork in it. you can and allways should make decks that are in synergy for that mode.
just cuse you face 2 players that are in silver 4 in premade dont mean they are in silver in 1v1 or 2v2 randoms.
since ritual decks are a big thing in premades, try the scrat lazer. if you can keep it alive it will make short work of big guys.
could be, but it is random, you dont know what you will get in there.
luck is allso a factor even at master or GM.
Wow for some reason I find premades a lot easier than solo. Even when I'm together with a friend who's just learning the game or with a random online. For some reason I do better in premade and is easy for me to reach Diamond. I'll try to reach Diamond in solo and see how it goes but I think my deck gets countered easily in Solo.
prolly cuz the matchmaker has given you random 2v2 as opponents.
Today I was fighting Masters and Grandmasters in Diamond and I got replays to prove it. The Match making is messed up but more often than not it screws you over the other way around.
i know i can learn to do better in certain situations/improving deck but its frustrating as allllll helllllllllllllllllllllllll lol oh well still fun. i look at it like ... master4/5 = michael jordan
