The amount of Gold, Rubies, and Crystals is truly significant. And with them you can get yourself TONS of content (Masters, Arenas, etc) and STILL get yourself boosted up pretty well to make up for all that lost time you've played without the upgrade.
ON TOP OF THAT...
- More XP per match = Faster Level = More & better stuff from level rewards
- More gold per match = More chances to play Draft = More & better stuff from Draft rewards
It is the gift that keeps on giving. You'll reach higher levels faster and get all the rewards you'd otherwise have to wait FOREVER for, and the additional gold means you'll be running TONS more Drafts, which is where you'll primarily be getting your PowerTokens, Rubies, Crystals, & Gold going forward.
Yes, if you're a cheapskate like me, it's always tough to shell out cash for a game that is otherwise free. But doing this is a no-brainer, as it's a HUGE boost.
But most importantly, supports the FANTASTIC dev team that decided to release this game for free, and have shown that they are one of the better dev teams producing some of the best games out there nowadays, and supporting them will help keep them around.
The best thing about the premium, in my opinion, is that you can get all the masters (other than Milloween right now) straight away. Use the rubies to get all of them, otherwise it's a grind trying to get them. 500 shards isn't heaps but it allows you to get some of the basic cards to get you going.
But if you think you gonna spend a lot of time on this game, more than any other ones, you might consider it for small bonus and supporting dev that are quite responsive to our inputs (and at least communicative) ! ^^
Having it, I think I have accumulated much more than what it provides. And no grinding/milking (to balance lack of content or being competitive) feels good...
