they won't marry to you if they won't have a place for them to live that's right... but they can agree even without having a castle/town. if the one you need to get permitio(brother,father) will accept she can live. or in the king's town. or if the one you need to get permition from have a castle she will be there.

now you do need to get INTO THE FACTION FOR PERMITION that's part of the permition!....

You can only properly court girls if you're with their faction (unless you've previously been allowed to court them and then quit that faction, in which case you retain your visiting rights), but you can potentially elope with them even with no faction, but you MUST have a castle or town regardless. A Village fief won't work. The only time they'll go live with someone else is if you lose your castle/town, at which point they'll go stay at a family member's castle/town or the castle/town of their lord if their family has no castle/towns.
