How in the world do you deal with nonstop sea raid camps? [Native + Diplomacy]
I own a city and a castle in the far north (Rivacheg and Bulugha castle) as a vassal of the Rhodoks (soon independant hehe) however, the amount of sea raiders is INSANE, I saw some raiders here and there over the years (one and a half to be precise) However, I never encountered 100-300 sea raiders...

They are of course never forming such big stacks but many small stacks of 30-60 and they go around in insane numbers basically and I destroy their secret hideout but literally if I return after a few days another one spawns and there seems to be no way to reduce their numbers.

Are we facing another foreign invasion now or what? I enlisted 2 strong patrols now to hopefully help but I just wonder what you guys suggest.

It does not bother me personally but I guess the trade of my city suffers dramatically.

Nothing to be done about it.

Sea raiders spawn and respawn.

Its an unfortunate consequence of your holding. No way to stop or prevent it.

Generally bandits and bandit camps are valued both as a slave/money generator and easy lord relationship(lords near the camp will almost ALWAYS have a bounty on their hideout).

Really it is one of the reasons Rivacheg is kinda low on my list of priority targets(at least as far as cities go) for this very reason. It is a good place to hunt, but a bad place for caravans.

I did not knew and basically the sea raiders respawn DAILY, like..I think in a few weeks I destroyed their hideout 5x already im getting so tired of it XD

All my work for nothing x.x I conquered that city and the nearby castle then became independant...I guess I just retire and start over but in the Floris Mod to see how it is

When you become a King in your own right, give it to one of your Lords and let them deal with keeping the bandit population in check.

With Diplomacy, I think you can "exchange fiefs" with other Lords. So, pass along the problem to them and pick up a holding that won't cause you such headaches.

You're playing the big game now, so yeah, just let someone take that task on by assigning lords up there with big armies or else do the dirty deeds yourself if you enjoy the repetition.

The only way I know of to "deal with the problem" is to beat them down and keep them down.

Taking out their camps and chasing down the ones you can catch is a start. Having more lords travelling through the area will help with that.

Feasts in Rivacheg should help. When you're a King, handing out fiefs to different (and capable) lords will make a big difference. As a Marshall, you can bring your lords up there, or order them to patrol the city, etc.

Basically, that corner of the map is Sea Raider turf. They always respawn and there's no stopping it, as far as I know.

I know the usual way to deal with raiders and in no area ever I saw this insane amount of raiders but the problem is that you can't beat something down that respawns on a DAILY basis.

I perhaps 2 weeks I already destroyed their camps 5x or so and its just really boring and annoying.

I guess I could assign lords and let them perhaps but well, I kind of ended up moving now to the Floris mod and enjoy it more, although in a way it feels alot easier cause you make much money by raiding.

Thanks for all your answers though (: I have to see later again if the lords are successful in it.
