Cons: tasteless changes such as a "revamp" of many troop trees and needless ENBs.
Pro: Troop tree revamps are optional, you can choose to play with original un-modified troop trees if you want to.
oh that's good. Still, ENBs ruin the feel of native
ENB?
Basically, a shader preset or .dll for altering/fine-tuning your vidcard's display setting so that it adds features and calls that may not have been in the original game.

I don't know why anyone would complain over Floris's graphics, which are definitely an improvement. Everything is switchable, anyway.
There are no "cons" to Floris, IMO. If there is one, it would only be felt if the user's system was very low spec and they'd have problems running several mods, anyway, so it's not like Floris is worse than others. (There's even a submod to reduce Floris's textures for those with old machines.)
Note: For those who get confused with all the additional things that Floris brings to the game, it's usually because they haven't played native for long enough to experience its features, IMO.
<--- Fan of Floris Extended.
PS - Add: There IS one "Con" in Floris - Some of the custom arenas for certain Tournaments can be very difficult in terms of terrain issues and a few AI pathing issues. But, for many, they're a welcome addition. In any event, just like with most of Floris's in-game settings, you can switch those off for the Towns where you don't like those custom Tournament features.
tournaments are perhaps the only thing that annoys me with floris. there's really no problem with the native tournaments, they filter out the losers, the winners beat the losers then are split up then some of them lose et cetera. in floris tournaments you go round by round and whoever gets the most kills wins, with this system, there's really no point to having multiple people on a team since the people on the same team are also competing to be the one who lands the killing blow, may as-well just use the standard non-tournament arena setup
Tournaments in vanilla get boring. They're also too predictable in terms of weapons/mounts/etc.
Floris lets you customize the ones you want customized and still lets you take advantage of any other features in its tournament system, so there's really no downside and some of the areans are really a lot more fun. Plus, while horse AI pathing in arenas is still... stupid as ever, it's not as bad in certain ones.
I don't remember where it is usually, but that one Floris custom-tournament arena that has all that little brush in it with friggin' collision boxes on them (there are some battlefields that has that crap in them, too) with the little hill and small pool of water... I HATE THAT DARN ARENA! :) I only ever enable it when I'm really bored.. 'cause it sucks.
There are enought toggles in that custom tournament module that you can tweak it how you wish or even just disable it altogether, so it's only a "Con" in a very few instances, IMO. (Like that one darn arena!)
But those you can revert easily to Vanilla style animations. The visuals on the other hand come from a mod I believe, and removing this from the core files is much more work, at least when I last informed myself about a year ago.
