I'm guessing this game was made for Markiplier to play, considering the pink mustache. Otherwise, it's a rhythm-focused game where you eat food on the beat, and shoot out "Randy marsh"-sized turds to the people dancing in the back. It has some 'poopy' slapstick comedy, but it looks like a wonderful project for a beginning game developer.

Super Duper Party Pooper's visuals aren't great, but it's enough for the price. Characters look like a balloon with their big, circle heads that move around. The environment looks simple, although the effects and placement make them look crowded, perfect for a party. All of these are complemented by the disco music that helps to bring them to life.

Gameplay
The gameplay is divided into two parts. The first one is a reaction game where you need to press a button to eat after a cue, and the second is a throwing game where you need to throw poop at people. The first part of the game makes the most of the level; you need to react fast enough to press all buttons because the number of poops that you get will be based on the food that you successfully ate.

New mechanics will be added in each level, with more buttons that have different timing. At the last few levels, you will hardly have time to blink as the music and cues get faster, giving a challenge especially since you need to be cautious not to press eat any bombs.

On the contrary, the second part of the game is very similar at each level. The placement of the people hardly changes, although I still find an issue in getting them all in one try. Getting everything right without missing, both in the first and second part, will be crucial since your score will be multiplied based on your combo. There aren't any bad cues like the bomb in the first part, but since people are moving up and down in the second part, you might miss your throw because of it.

Length and Difficulty
I finished the game in 0.9h. Finishing all levels in the gold trophy will unlock hardcore mode, which gives a harder challenge for the first part of the gameplay. I finished all hardcore levels in 0.2h (1.1h total). The game is easy to beat as long as you remember the timing - I could finish each level in a few tries most of the time, although getting the gold trophy might take more tries depending on your skill.

Issue
The in-game pop-up is disruptive. Sometimes, the game will notify you whenever something is unlocked, but it does so by covering the whole screen with an image while the game is still running. You will end up getting a game over because you can't see what's happening on the back.

Super Duper Party Pooper is a unique game that can be completed in a short time. It might feel weird at first, especially since you need to learn the timing. However, it won't take long before you get used to it and can finish all levels comfortably. Moreover, it doesn't overstay its welcome either. It ends once it stopped introducing new mechanics, which I believe is already plenty. If you have a short time to spare and wondering what game you can spend with it, get this game.

Brilliant and funny. Ever want to poop on people? lol, I can't get enough of K Bros Games, they just keep coming up with the craziest ideas.

Too bad this isn't multiplayer or I'd further recommend it for nice cheap game on a weekend. Even as a single player game it's nice but not worth the .99cent. Pick it up on sale, would be worth the $1 if it was multiplayer.

I wish I could give this a neutral review instead of a negative one, but Steam doesn't give me the option, and I can't bring myself to give it a positive recommendation.

I want to start by saying I actually loved the previous game made by the same developer. "There's poop in my soup" was also equally as silly, but the gameplay gripped me more.

Super Duper Party Pooper is meant to be a rhythm game, yet it doesn't seem to reward me properly for going with the beat. I've played the drums for years, and have played tonnes of rhythm games throughout my life, so I'm not new to the genre, and have a very good sense of rhythm, but the games notes just don't seem to match the music's beat. I even tried playing on another monitor to make sure it wasn't mind causing the problem, but it was still slightly off. That's the biggest problem. It's like if you play a shooter and the bullets don't go straight to where you're aiming. Who knows, maybe it's because I have a very good sense of rhythm that I might notice it more than most people, or my computer is messing it up somehow, or perhaps I'm just terrible at this particular game.

I still unlocked 5 out of 6 levels despite that because the game gives you visual queues for when you're meant to press the button.
Each level is set in a new location, which looks relatively different to the previous one. The music more or less fits the theme of the environment. In my opinion, the music is the best part about the game. Unfortunately, I don't even think it was made for the game.

The game does a good job at keeping levels fresh by adding new obstacles constantly. You'll need to focus on multiple places at once, or avoid bombs. When you successfully press a button at the right time, your character will eat and fill up their stomach. Depending on how well you do throughout the level, you will have a certain amount of poo to fling at the backup dancers behind you, for a few extra points at the end.

The game also allows you to import your own music, but it's way too frustrating to use. You'll need to copy paste the exact file path to tell it which song to use, and it only allows for mp3s. The game would benefit from a file browser. Not only that, but you then need to enter the Beats per minute for the song on your own so the game knows at what speed you should be matching the notes at. It's not like in games like Audiosurf where the game detects all that on its own. The game recommends using a certain site to find the BPM, but there's only a set amount of songs there from what I can tell. The chances of finding your song are very slim.


Eventually I figured out a song that I wanted to use, inputted the BPM, but I encountered a problem. Because it was quite a slow song, some of the objects I needed to press were going off the screen before their time came.
In other words, there are some food items that have lights on them. They slowly pass by your screen in the rhythm of the music, and when their lights turn green you are allowed to eat them. But because my music was slow, the lights only became green when they were off screen. It made playing that song very hard.

Overall, I can't recommend the game. Yes, it's very cheap so you can give it a go without losing much, and it isn't awful. It's just that I can't enjoy a rhythm-based game that doesn't work properly. Again, I think the dev is capable since I 100%ed their previous game, but with broken mechanics in this, it just isn't fun. And I don't think I would enjoy it too much even if the rhythm-timing was fixed.

A rhythm game that feels like it's missing a beat, and a shooting part that looses its aim at what made the first game fun.
I enjoyed the developers previous game, "There is a Poop in my Soup", but this needs to be flushed out.

The sequel to "There's poop in my soup" turnsout quite challenging. SDPP is a quick reaction game based on the beats of music. You can even loadin your own custom MP3 tracks if the function wasn't such bugged. You have to collect food from all 4 corners and flying bags from up and milkshakes from down until your stomach is completely filled. Then starts the famous poopthrowing again. Unfortunately you have to do it perfectly and there are also occuring bombs which kill you instantly. If you succeed and get the highest multiplicator you can earn gold medals. The flashgame is quite laggy and the milkshake clouds cover possible bombs coming up. Seems the community is already used to pooping games on Steam.

Here you have to think about more and from level to level it´s getting harder and you really nead coordination! :'D
I also like the fact that you can unlock the "hardcore" mode, so you kinda have to work for it :D
