Rugga SPOILERS
So I killed Rugga in my playthrough, i figured a snake like him is bound to cause more trouble down the line so might as well get rid of him sooner rather than later. Im curious though can anyone tell me what happens if you let him live? Does he continue to sabotage everything you do in his own quest for power? Or does he actually help trying to save mankind?

No, the ending is pretty dull. You and Ruggo debate a little... yadda yadda endfight... sun is rising... rugga isnt even mentioned.

If you switch back to Arberrang a 4th time, Rugga will pop out from the darkness with a personal mender, and start create trouble in the Great Hall, then you could a) Cast him of, in the darkness, without the mender's light (kill him) b) Put and arrow directly coldy in his head c) Let clansmen deal with the troublemaker, this will end in him felling on his own sword trying to defend himself.

Why do Stoic Studio punishes the player for doing things right? I have returned three times, unlocked achievments and was delusional about "getting everything"...faen depths!

In my playthrough, I never even traveled back to Arberrang once. How long does it take before the ♥♥♥♥ starts to hit the fan?

I had about 18 days on the clock at the start of chapter 21 and returnned to Arberrang three times. It depends on your decisions with both parties, though; you can waste more or less time with the Ravens and buy more or less time at the city depending on what you choose.

Indie games are... unconventional, I guess :steammocking:

Seriously now, there's a discussion around this, so expect (small) tuning/balancing updates.

I left him alive in the prison when it was already obvious he was going to be a pain in the behind. He just showed up in the throne room and I had already decided that if he'd show again, he'd die. So I did. No one in the hall cared and Hakon chucked him out XD

You can choose to kill him on several occasions.

My big question is the one from the save Egil thread, do I have to kill Rugga in order to ensure Eigil lives during the 4th return back in the finale? I don't mind it but it would be satisfying seeing Rugga die in the described manner during said 4th encounter as well.

Welp, I always supposed that he died by the mobs, consumed by darkness or killed by the resident dredge.
