I had 100 , i was close of getting the 104 achievement , any way to fix this

I've done this fight 3 times, and as soon as it hits the load screen after the game window shrinks and it crashes. It's been about 4 years since I last played these games and each subsequent title has been buggier than the last. edit: make that 5 times, and that's after reinstalling, launching in compatability mode for windows 7, and downloading and installing a patch...
