Dredge Slayer?

Seems to be the main one people cant get.

Any idea?

Dredge Lover is simple, you just need Apostate, Castaway, and Bastion at the end of the game.

I would assume for the opposite you just make sure you've killed all of them and chose all the other '♥♥♥♥ Dredge" options just to be safe.

Is the Dredge Bastion a tribute to the game Bastion?

I think it's more on account that he is a massive hunk of metal and has over 20 armor.

I also thought Bastion's name symbolizes Aberrang being the last "bastion" of all the living races against the overwhelming darkness.

You must not take in any Dredge:
1. Kill Apo back in Saga2
2. Refuse Casta and kill her in godstone Denglr
3. Do not allow the Dredge inside Arberrang (Bast doesn't join)

I hope Kivi (who always joints, for pre-orders) doesn't mess this up...

You can have have all Dredge except Bastion and lose to Bolverk at the white tower. He will kill everyone but Iver, Eyvind and Juno in Ravens caravan.

Supposedly all achievements are doable wout playing the others.

I guy in another forum said simply do not get Bastion and let Bolverk kill apostate and castaway.

Thanks Hevi. I did exactly this in two different runs now - unfortunately it did not work for me, didn't get the achievement.

Or do I have to let Apostate and Castaway get killed in battle by Bolverk?

I got that one exactly in a way already mentioned:
1. Not opening the gate for the Dredge in Chapter 20 (I assume Dredge then die twisted in the Darkness).
2. Loosing the battle to Bolverk at the end (which gets everyone in Iver's caravan killed except for Iver, Juno, Eyvind).

During that playhtrough I did pick up Castaway and was traveling with him till the last battle. I was playing on a save in which I did not allow Apostate to join me in BS2, so I did not have him at the start - take it for what it is.
Maybe there is some bug that does not recognise Apostate as dead, even if you loose a battle to Bolverk? So if you do start with Apostate, you won't unlock Dredge Slayer even if you loose that battle and get everyone killed. That is, for now, my only idea why the above-mentioned achievement recipe would not work for some people.

@j.david.lorenz No, you do not have to let Bolverk kill your Dredge in battle. It doesn't even matter if you have those Dredge in the roster for that battle. I did not have Castaway in my roster and it still worked.

Thank's a lot @fabula_rasa. I have Apostate in my party (unfortunately I don't have a save file from a run withouth him), that could be the only possibility. Because I did exactly what you and Hevi did.

Or maybe something is buggy. When I finished my first play-through on hard, I did not get the "Hard Difficulty" achievement (I never changed the mode). Got it on my second play-through on hard.

So oh well, maybe some other run some other time ... thank's anyways!
