I had this same problem and the only way I got the achievement was to play the original game (not the remake) and get the achievement from there.

Just worked out to how to play the original, thank you very much and it worked, you are a star!

Thank you for the report.
The "Kaitai Shinsho" can be obtained in the remake version too.
We can't divulge too much detail, as it would be a spoiler, but you will have to check the "Kaitai Shinsho" before you get too far into the story.

Game won't download. I click on install and it inmediatly turns green to play and got added to installed games but it didn't installes anything and when i try to run the game it says something like: EXE FILE MISSING

in room of memories that need we to hide dead animal body we can get "SOFTLOCK" if we put mother in front of the drawer and holding a dead animal because we can't interact with book to reset, this need me to restart the game

not a crash bug, but i cant cook the sausage for the hungry spirit in the basement and its completely softlocked me cause i cant get the napkin from him to clean up the mother in the memories section

Same here, can't cook the sausage and currently stuck at the memories section. It's a problem related to your last patch? Can you fix it please?

Hello! I'm currently playing mad father on the Steam Deck, so a Linux system with the Proton layer, and I'm also running into the problem where I'm unable to cook the sausage for teh hungry boy.
