That said, I don't think there are any more outright secret walls excepts those few in medical. So I don't think you need to worry about wall-humping any more going forward.
Only way to find them now is knowing the original by heart or using the sensaround module, which they removed the original function of (360° FOV) to show stuff on the minimap instead.
For medical in particular there is a Super Devious one that is... I think unique. It is super simple, but I know I missed it for over an hour even knowing where to search.
Thanks, that's a good point about Sensaround I hadn't thought of. I don't particularly like it, but it'll do.
If you're talking about the 0 security, I found that one but had prior knowledge.
Nor did I find anything on the second floor, yet.
Where did you find this secret door on medical btw? I haven't found any secret rooms yet and I'm not sure how to go about finding them.
The sensearound augmentation now being a radar or sonar instead of a rear view mirror makes sense as the original aug was more or less needed for the original game's terrible controls. It still came in handy in Portable & the Enhanced Edition with their mouselook but simply turning around to see was a lot easier than vanilla classic.
Now because it's easier to turn around, the aug's original purpose was likely seen by the devs as obsolete. It does seem more useful than the original in EE though.
Hopefully some will find them all in the remake and make a guide about it.
