Actually Ken and Ryu from street fighter look straight plagerized from streets of rage and evidently every Japanese character is plagerized with the name Ryu...
My God people look for anything to ♥♥♥♥♥ about this game.
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game so far but it feels like they've just taken bits of already existing games and mashed them together without adding anything of their own.
And everyone with a moustache is Mario!
Sorry, but that inventory system was around before Deus Ex. Really, you people need to stop worrying about/cataloging for criticism common core features of games.
And, honestly, you should be happy things have gotten standardized. Twenty-years controls were anything but standardized and you had to learn every control scheme, many of which were just flat-out awful and WASD was not standard. It could be the arrow keys. It could be the number pad. Jumping might have been the TAB key instead of the very common space-bar we all hit without thinking now. Etc., etc., etc.
LOL +100
Oh where did you play with a Gloo Canon before excactly?
And also the recycling system, if not new is at least greatling tought out in the game.
like i said, they look almost the same and are called the same. for instance there are mimics in dark souls but they are just giant chests on legs. if they put a mimic from eot in this game, or one from this game in the movie you wouldn't be able to say which one was added and which one was the original.
and to the ones taking it personally, i really like the game, and i think that is fine, and maybe it was a huge coincidence since if someone really jacks something up they would at least call it different you know :D

This is pretty generic design used everywhere.
Also if you would look beyond that, you will see thriugh disgues that small mimics in fact head crabs and alien's facehuggers, just made of black goo.
Dude! They are both 451 games, as is every Deus Ex, System Shock, Dishonered, Thief and Bioshock title.
Game Designers from the closed studio Looking Glas (Thief) ended up with Eidos Montreal and Arcane ect. and they all share they heritage and design philosophies with each other.
All of those games are Imersive sims and they are even marked by having 451 as the first (and in Bioshock Infinite´s case; only!) door code in the games.
This is either a nogde towards Looking Glases office number or the novel Fahrenheit 451 (or both).
Those games are similar for a reason and by design and i luv it!
