I’m able to play the game for at least a hour before it crashes I’m not sure if it’s cause of alpine county world since it’s fairly large. It’s definitely not my pc since it’s a gaming laptop.

I lost a 2 hour one before cause my game crashed and I didnt save, I start saving after every sim day now.
I’ve currently got one installed in my game which will remind me to save every 15 minutes, I normally save after every sim day incase my game crashes to my desktop.
The game gets laggy for me when I let too much stuff accumulate in my Sims's inventory. For some reason, 10 each of 10 different items does not cause the lagging, but 100 of any one item will cause a lot of lag.

For AMD, you only have to turn on "Wait Vertical Refresh" (in the Gaming tab > Sims3) I also decided to turn on Radeon Image Sharpening - 80% but this is optional.
When you load the the Sims3, set the FPS to 60 and your chosen resolution. When going to the Sims 3 folder (for me it's in D: Steam >steamapps > Common > The Sims3) go to the folder called Game > Bin then open the file called Sims.ini .
You have to set the MemoryUsageLimit from 20000000 to 40000000. I chose to set it to 32000000 as I have 64GB RAM but this is optional and depends on how much RAM you have and want to offer to the game to use.
Hope this helps.
