But which version is being remade? Are they going the easier route with the already HDer, puzzle-free mobile port?, or they going whole hog & remaking the original version?
Considering that the store page has a shot of the inventory showng the photograph from the first puzzle room in 999 , and they mention "room escape games," I'm going to say that it's the original.

As for version it's a new remastered from 3DS most likely, as it have puzzles, they have also mentioned that it will have voice and so on as well this time around.

It also adds in some of the niceities that the iOS version had, such as the Flowchart. Or at least the "Flow" option is shown in the menu in a screenshot on the PlayStation EU blog.
I also imagine the 7th ending will sneak in from the iOS version as it simplifies the flowchart a bit.
