New map PORT level exit bugged

after completing the puzzle barrels are stuck and can't even brute force with a boat cause it doesn't float.

Yup, cant even wall climb into the exit. How does this even happen? Do they not playtest their own levels? Wasted a whole hour on this.... and when they do fix what shouldve worked from the beginning i will have to do everything again... great. Makes me hyped for HFF2.

another solution is if you use the catapult next to the cave and you shoot yourself at the side of the exit around the waterfall and just fall into the water. You can reach the catapult with the steamboat but it disappeared for me when I got too close to the catapult. Another solution if you bring a barrel to the steamboat somehow and you put those barrels to the water in the cave

You can actually. It's hard to explain how but it's a known technique. Basically just hang on the wall (I chose to start on the left side of the exit door) and then start moving along the wall by turning and swapping hands. Until you get to the exit where you can just let go and fall into the water.

....Is it bad that I was one of the lucky people that managed to somehow get the barrels out once I did the pipe puzzle? I however wasn't recording, but as I was fiddling with the lever once all lights lit up, there was no knowledge that I did something until I saw the water was moving.

And since my PC isn't the best thing, I don't know if this helps but my game wasn't running 60fps at all for this map at all times, as the optimization isn't the greatest compared to other maps. So if other people are having issues, try limiting your fps to I dunno, 40 to 50fps, maybe keep it 60fps? Maybe physics of the barrels work better that way? Beats me.

That's not to say I didn't have issues with the map, I was running like a headless chicken at the start because it is so dark.

Anywho, I am not trying to flex or anything because I swear over my heart I was able to complete it, without use of that forbidden program. I wish everybody here the utmost good luck to complete the map. And if the fps cap trick doesn't work, then the devs will have to release a patch.

You can actually wallclimb into the cave and drop at the very end to trigger the exit. But this is I think the third level where multiplayer broke completely blocking progression. Not sure how this can happen again and again.

it doesnt work if you bring a barrel to the cave. We tried it. The barrel will just sink to the ground. Didnt check the solution with the catapult yet but it seems its too far away to get there.
