Outside of that, everyone else is not like that: Chizuru is the uptight frigid girl, morichika is the laidback kind-of-hippie; Nakategawa is the flamboyant, calculating by-the-book guy.
As for overall Silver Case nature of narrative, well, i still trust the guy who compared it to "Gravity's Rainbow" by Pynchon ^_^
Of course, personal opinion and all that, but I think the heavier, more profane language just seems to work with the style and flow of the game -- and, really, it makes the game have that fun, a little bit rough, punk feeling that comes with lots of Suda51's work.
But its abuse of offensive language is in itself a statement about the interactive novel genre.
(Please don't witchunt Kamamura just because he doesn't understand Suda51's artistic style. Controversey is important for this type of game. Provocative games are intended to make you think, and leave you different than when you picked it up!)

As someone mentioned earlier, Suda-san was very particular about the language used in the game. It had to be as close to the original as possible as well as understandable, matching the feeling of the game and mirroring the 90's in Japan.
Now I know a lot of people aren't a fan of swearing, but that's actually a mirror of how cops at that age, in that situation talked. So the game and the language used is sticking to the original as close as possible.
