Horse clan final conquest ISSUE

So I'm playing the conquest with horse clan. I've tried 2 separate games and I've had the required 45 iron to forge the sword of Odin but every time I place 1 of my heroes on the magma forge/anvil of gods nothing happens. Is it a known bug in the game or am I doing something wrong? Huge thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried sending a regular person (and not your heroes)
I can't remember doing that mission with horse but I've finished the conquest back then.

For horse, normal villagers can't forge: it has to be one of the warchiefs.

It seems you didn't tell them to actually forge the sword. Clicking on the forge will bring up a similar interface to the normal forge where you can say that you want to create the sword. That step is where you spend the iron. There are three parts, so you need to do it three times.

Alright soo my bug that I have then is that when I click on the forge it shows pretty much nothing. It just says 0/3 forged but has no option to choose to forge anything.

There should be a forging process when you click that tile, and you should get a forge button when clicking the forge itself iirc. Haven't played map special victories for a long while so correct me if I'm wrong about it.

I recently had this issue in my Lynx conquest. Was able to forge the hilt and after that the "Forge" button just disappeared. Assigning-reassigning and loading-reloading didn't help. Seems like a last patch bug, never encountered anything like this before.

What I did to "fix" this: I lost the zone to an enemy clan and waited until their smith starts forging. After that I recaptured the zone and was able to forge as normal. It still bugs out every new stage though, so you'll need to do this twice or thrice, deem it as an extra challenge.

Also it seems it doesn't spend your iron that way - forging was free after reconquest :\

Yeah seems like imma have to re and try that option of letting the enemy do it. Beacuse when I click on the forge it shows i have 1/1 dude there (my hero) and "assign your warchiefs to forge the sword of odin. 0/3 done". But no option to start forging. Hella annoying lol.
