On a 5120x1440. 32:9 monitor the "play" screen is out of scale

I recently bought a new monitor and wanted to try out EOTU. I go into options and update the resoution to match my monitor (5120x1440). It goes through just fine so I press play.

This is where things start to become problematic. For some reason the screen seems very zoomed in. I Can see "tutorial", "story", "custom game" and arcade". But the back button is gone. So once I have entered this page I cannot go back to the main menu. Wish I could add images here to show how it looks. But it feels as if the scaling of the whole page is set to the width, So in my case I'm missing half of the screen since 5120x2880 is 16:9.

And also, possibly on the same issue. The food numbers and upgrade numbers are huge. And would not hurt to have a slider for map sizes (only) and UI positioning for widescreens
