The Harvest Achievment "Fly Swatting"

Tried twice, cleared more then 4 plants of phorid flies on impossible with the challenge active, still no achievement. Cleared some plants multiple times, and 5 plants individually.

There are long standing issues with this achievement that we've unfortunately been unable to replicate on our end - it seems that the problems aren't easy to reproduce, which makes things tricky.

I know this is a very open question, but Is there anything in particular you were doing that might have interfered with its conditions?

the only thing that comes to mind is that some plants get reinfected with phorid flies almost immediately after clearing them, other then that nothing else stands out. one plant specifically the one closest to the mound, just to the left. On the first run thru i cleared flies from the bottom left patch of leaves, but on the 2nd run i did not as they did not show up there.

I had this issue too and I even kept clearing plants long after I felt it would be overkill until I finally got tired of it and won the level. Didn't get achievement
