Freeze error

Let me start of by stating I do not regret this purchase. This game is amazing!

Playing it on my M4 Macbook and PS5 controller. For whatever reason, if the start button is pressed, the game just freezes.
A type of long line where you'd expect input in text but you can't type a thing, its movable, but you can't get out of that mode. Only way is to restart the game. Sad part is you can't save between the mission, so you need to restart it all..

This is odd, could you please have a look?

Also, I can't seem to open the popup messages on the right side of the screen (i), with the controller.

Maybe one button pressed and held, to navigate through the on screen menu items?

Notifications should be viewable with right on the Dpad - is that not working in your case?

I've just unlocked the new ants that can shoot stuff, this game is awesome =D

one could say: but then you just don't press start button, but that unfortunately is ingrained into our souls.. hehe..

Edit: when starting a new game with controller, I don't get to pick the actual right setting of the two, seems like an overlay issue.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for that update

There is one small thing that might be connected to the issue as the last video:

Can't migrate to the new sector, seems, somewhat the same as the last video.
I've also tried changing the gamepad to other settings, but allas.

Edit:
Oh and about your comment on a Mac and PS5: a Mac with the PS5 controller, well, It's simply the best.
Mac updates don't destroy the laptop, more then 10 hours of battery and the PS5 controller is the best there is (haven't tried the Steam controller yet).
