Can´t survive the prologue !

I´ve bought Bayonetta at the PS3 years ago so i write about the PS3 version of Bayonetta and have this issue at the prologue:

"This is all about offense. Don't worry much about dodging or anything like that. Just stay on top of the enemies and build up your meter as fast as possible with good punch-kick combos. The instant your torture attacks become available use them. Do this three times before the timer runs down". - What´s the reason why the "game is over" for me?

There's a timer running down, very obvious and planted in the middle top of the screen... Reach zero and you lose.

You're on a plane that's about to collide into a building. That's why you get a game over when time runs out.

Execute "Torture Attack" 3 times, simple as that.

Thanks - now i can play the game on the PS3.
To sad that Sony hasn´t a community feature (for help and suggestions) like Steam.

Uh. There's no issues with that segment in the PC version. It works fine.

I was having this problem too, somehow the entire UI had got turned off. So you can't see the timer or your magic meter to know when you can execute a torture attack.

So this bug is not PC-exclusive :-)

same problem here cant do Torture Attack, it never triggers and i have no UI its an endless stream of enemys and no timer is displayed. I kill them until the plane crashes...every time. Someone an idea to fix this?

Turn on the UI in the game's options. Steam version may revert the default settings at first launch.

most likely you hit the key that toggles the UI, F8, F10 or F11, can't quite recall.

I only just managed to get past that section today myself. For giving you a supposed 5 minute countdown, you sure don't get an actual 5 minutes. If you take damage more than once you might as well just restart the sequence.

When you can execute a Torture attack (have 1 full stock of magic) Bayonetta glows purple. You can see a aura around her. If you have the UI glitch then just keep comboing until she gets abunch of special effects around her.

The purple aura is a indicator of atleast 1stock(big one not the tiny one). It may be hard to see in fights but it is there.
