Best and Most Worthless Ultra Combos?
Worst has to be Blanka. Lightning Ball - will knock a person over if he's hit with the initial (aerial) attack, but won't take further damage. Should this first attack not hit, he's got all the time in the world to avoid it, as it's the equivalent of sending off an air raid siren. His second attack is little better - if you can get someone with the aerial version while they're directly above you, it could work, but the ground version is so easily blocked, even someone in the air can block it upon landing, and while better than the first, he still gives plenty of warning time, and leaves himself extremely vulnerable.
Some of the giant projectile attacks, or Ken's fiery kicks, don't do much damage even if it connects perfectly. I suppose it's a tradeoff for how difficult it is to hit someone.
Roses Satellites are generally worthless, as blocking them destroys them, but I've fought a few who jump over my character and use them to hit me from behind.

Best? Perhaps Akuma's Raging Demon, as it's unblockable and does a lot of damage (but inputting the command is tough, particularly in the middle of a fight).

wow.... your view of the game is.... uhhhh.... interesting....

Just because an attack does a lot of damage and is unblockable doesn't make it the best.
You can easily jump and then avoid/punish people who use it. And akuma has the easiest input to a super. It's a little trivial but you just need like 2 minutes in the chambers and practice memorizing the input.
As for worst ultra, I don't have any in mind. Maybe Juri's 2nd. I love juri and she's my main, but I hate her ultra. Getting the EX divekick into ultra 2 is either luck or just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because when you do ex divekick and then immediatly follow by ultra 2, it looks like juri is going to hit the enemy, but it doesn't, for no reason. I think it's either because juri needs to ex divekick near a wall or im not doing it right half the time.

a raging demon is actually pretty easy to input. here's how you do it -> lp,lp, and at the same time you press back press lk+HP so the whole input should be Lp, Lp, back+lk+hp

I think Raging Demon is pretty awful to be honest, it can be stopped in so many ways. Of course if someone uses it correctly, it is great, but that's not something that happens often.

Balrog Ultra 2 is poo

What Ultra you use should depend on how you play and what character you play against. With Gouki you can combo into Ultra 2 but Ultra 1 can be used to punish someone who miss a Shoryuken or something.

I like raging demon, and it is nice easy input, especially to teach people less familiar with the stick arcs and such. It also just has that sense of immense power - the move is so incredibly powerful, we can't even show you. I've liked that concept ever since watching him being played in SF3.

Finishing off achieves for offline stuff, I'm finding Yun's ultra 1 to be very disappointing in damage output. I agree Blanka's lightning is a pain, especially that it usually only hits the first part; and I've twice managed to do Sakura's anti-air hadoken ultra instead of the anti-ground version, mind-blanking kicks instead of punches, wish the command was a bit more different lol.

I have trouble consistently pulling off the 'triangle' ultras, like Guile's and Vega's, so they make my list of 'bad' ones as well. The grappler ultras tend to be the most satisfying :).

The most satisfying Ultra to land in my opinion are Balrog's and Duddley's Ultra I. Balrog's is probably the most simple ultra of all, but so good when all of the punches hit someone and even better when the final punch give a K.O, that sound effect is just delicious to hear. I don't like super flashy things like E. Ryu's Ultra II, for me, just punching someone in the face constantly while dragging them to the other side of the screen is way cooler.

You realize that you can hold PPP to delay Blanka's ultra, right? That's how you're supposed to hit someone after the aerial attack.

And you must not have watched EVO this year if you think Rose's satellites are bad.

raging demon should always be used buffered with some other attack button, because if you press LP twice during the match people will know u are going to attempt U1. The best way to use is to catch a jump in. You press (cr.mk+LP) x 2 => back+LK+HP together. This lowers your hitbox and you will be invincible for the first few frames which then avoid the jump in attack and catch them when they land. Previously, Akumas used to buffer it with cr.HK to catch focus attack or knock down if the opponent blocks high. This option select is OP and they removed it in Ultra.

Best Ultra, im surprised no one mentioned is probably Elena's healing. It freaking annoying and OP which I like.

Does anyone know what Juri's Feng Shui Engine does? It appears to be a timed buff, but she doesn't move faster, nor do her attacks seem more powerful.

Blanka's U1 worthless?
Good mix-up potential, great chip damage, and good damage overall.

Rose’s U2 worthless?
Great move which forces the opponent into the defensive. I would consider it one of the best Ultras in the game.

Akuma’s U1 best?
The start-up makes it really easy for the opponent to jump out of easily. Also has poor invincibility-frames making it inconsistent when used to react to jump-ins. It is easily beaten unless you time the Ultra perfectly. I’ve only seen Infiltration use this Ultra effectively versus Gamerbee and not many Akuma’s can match his reactions. U2 is way more practical.

Her attacks get faster, her dash is faster and has increased range, she can also make unique combos that require the ultra effect.
